In many ways, it was very cute to hear Loki speak of her like this, the evident fondness in his voice. "You," he poked Loki's arm, pausing for dramatic effect, "are such a sap." But in no way was this revelation somehow detrimental.

"Did you write her poetry? I have to admit, if she wasn't scowling all the time, I bet she's got a nice smile." She probably didn't scowl all the time, but Eugene was sure she was always scowling at him. And she could not be blamed.

"I like Jack's smile. Your smile-- I just... like smiles I guess."
