This post is intended for anything that one could want to RP with Eugene. Nothing fancy here, just a date, type, and place where you'd like to meet up with him and we'll go from there. The only limit here is the imagination.

I... yes. Training. It'd be useful. Less dying, more frying. The enemy, I mean.

[If he found most people intensely boring, he figured there must be at least something not-boring about him and Jack that drew Loki to them. He felt a little smug about that idea, but like hell he was going to have it dashed by asking about it]

I'm actually hoping for training.

[He laughs quietly.] Your first goal should be surviving. Actually defeating the enemy is the advanced course.

[Why is Eugene asking him? Didn't he just die? And there's the bit where he's blind, but he has enough ways around that he can at least start on the basics.]

So help train me to survive.

[Eugene hadn't exactly done much to survive, he'd just been lucky, coincidentally not the one who had been killed. There was so much about that he'd rather not repeat, so by doing something, training, he might prevent that]

I just... don't want a repeat of what happened.

[Oh good. Someone who isn't in love with punching things. That's refreshing.] Name all the exits from this shop, in order of distance from our current position.

Uh...

[This was something he did have experience in taking care to notice, his eyes darting to one of the windows nearby]

Window, entrance, back entrance. Please don't say through the ceiling, I don't think I have that kind of arm strength to haul myself up there.

Then we shall have to work on that.

Are any of the vents large enough for you to fit your shoulders through?

Not exactly. Jack, yes, but I'm... not Jack.

[He laughs softly, giving Eugene's hands a light squeeze.] No, you are not Jack. You're quite yourself.

Five ways you would get through the window. Go.

Jump through, crash through, sneak through...

[Was this a test? He gave Loki a considering look, knowing full well the man couldn't see him, but he couldn't help how he always looked him in the face when speaking to him.]

Does it have to be my body going through the window? Can I have things like I dunno, a grenade?

Your body eventually has to make it through the window. Do you normally keep grenades in the coffee shop?

Crash through, and if I have some sort of hookshot, grapple through. But that's not really feasible, I'm running out of ways to get through a window.

And maybe I do keep grenades in here. I mean, a zombie apocalypse can happen at any moment, and I've got a reputation to uphold.

I'm surprised you seem so intent on slinging your flesh through the window. You might want to break it open with a bit of furniture first.

Toss a chair into it.

[Prior to his leg being restored he did have the upper body strength to lift himself up, but he also was missing some of his own mass, and thus was a bit easier.]

Or-- open it? I'm not fond of glass cuts, or any cuts, to be honest.

There you go. Now you have begun to think. What can you put through it, other than a chair?

People, cups, anything that I can lift and throw. Or that will fit through it, so that means tables are out.

[ He grinned a little, tipping his head in thought. ]

What would you put through a window?

[Grin.] Ideally, one of my assailants.

...Can't argue with that. Y'know, though, I have once used a skull to break out of an antique shop once. True story.

Was the skull attached to someone at the time?

And see, you are capable of thinking creatively. You can be trained.

No skull attached, though... it would be much more interesting.

[ Loki couldn't see it, but when one's senses were impaired, he wondered if the others took up the slack in the ways they could. Maybe he could hear Eugene's half-grin as he sighed in relief. ]

Good. I don't want... a repeat of the draft. I'm sure that I'm not the only one.

I certainly don't wish that nonsense to be repeated. Months in a spectacularly useless state is not my idea of fun.

I wouldn't consider you useless right now.

[ Once more he reached for Loki's hand, just to give him something to know he meant this in some sort of solidarity. ]

That'd be a fatal mistake.

[Loki chuckles softly, squeezing Eugene's hand briefly.]

True enough, were you to get close enough to mock me properly for it.

[ His tone softened a little, more curious for his friend's state of mine, but that he could chuckle gave him some measure of relief. ]

...Feeling any better? I mean, I'll have to go eventually. You gonna be alright on your own for a while?

[Loki shrugs.]

I'm all right.

[He's always all right. Until he suddenly isn't.]

[ Those kind of nonverbal answers always reminded him of just how not okay things were when he had an argument with one of his exes. Still, he grinned a little lopsided, knowing the look would be lost on Loki's sense of seeing, but unable to help it. ]

So when are you wanting to begin training?
