[A slightly fuzzy but then suddenly crisp clear face appears, looking into the screen with barely-there nervousness. He wasn't camera shy, but there were things out here that he should be anxious about being found by. Clears his throat softly before speaking, glancing off quickly to one side when he heard something move in the distance]
Ah, hello. My name's Eugene and I have a request, for any listeners out there...
[Pauses a second to gather his thoughts, brows knitting together as he gives a thoughtful look to something behind his portable... book thing. Tablet?]
I apologize if I've... wound up with someone's stolen tablet--
[Laughs a little nervously but continues on]
But I could use some help out here. Ah, I'll give it back? I didn't actually steal it, I sort of found it... out here. In the woods.
[And hopefully the owner of said tablet wasn't already dead. Hopefully he wasn't alone. The thought makes him swallow hard]
I'm gonna look for a stick in the meantime. Thanks in advance! Stay safe out there!
[Grins a little but it's obvious he's unsure, waving his fingers next to his face before cutting the signal]

Re: [Voice]
[Excuse him if he sounds genuinely shocked]
Everyone? But who...
[What kind of person left an electronic journal with a guy who had no leg in the forest?! A damn hoser, that's who.]
Never mind. Ah, I can't actually walk... so I'll need a hand if you can send some help?
[Voice]
[Clint sighs softly.]
There's a village in the compound too. Lot of people and...
I'm guessing you have no idea where abouts you are? There's a lot of ground to cover.
Re: [Voice]
[pauses and licks his lips, laughing on a soft huff of air]
Not unless you can track me down by this journal. Is it... safe? I mean, if I make noise, will it attract attention?
[Voice]
You might startle a few birds and woodland creatures but if there are people near you might help them to find you.
[Voice]
[He's so full of all these questions, realizes he's getting ahead of himself]
--What's your name?
[Voice]
[He goes a little cold at hearing that but that's over now.]
Luceti. This place, it's called Luceti and it's nowhere near anywhere you were before.
Clint. Clint Barton.
[Voice]
Mr. Clint Clint Barton...
[trying to insert some humor here, he seems to have said something that was a sore spot. He could understand, the zombie situation took its toll on everyone...]
Never heard of Luceti. Where is it close to?
[Voice]
Agent Barton, if that's easier.
[He's amused more than anything though.]
Who the hell knows? It's an enclosed compound. There's a forcefield around it. Nothing gets in or out without our captors say so.
[Voice]
Alright, Agent Barton it is. Admittedly, sounds cooler than James Bond.
[Clears his throat again and maybe he can be heard gulping, looking around, which is why his voice fades in and out-- initially mumbling to himself]
But... who could take out the entirety of Abel Township? I mean, we're not big... Ah, sorry. It's just pretty confusing. I fell asleep in a place I knew and now I'm in a place I definitely know I wouldn't be. With wings.
[Okay, then the thought crossed his mind]
................Can I fly?
[Voice]
[He loves making fun of Bond movies.]
So did everyone. Last I remember before I woke up here I was in the middle of a fight somewhere near New York.
...no, you can't fly. If you practice, you might manage to hover.
[Voice]
I am certain that people would disagree with you about Bond, Agent Barton.
[fight near New York? Reputation of that city meant he was probably the sort of guy to get into a scuffle-- or maybe he was on the job? Suddenly he wasn't so certain but he wasn't alarmed, just intrigued]
...Sorry about the search thing. Landmarks? I could uh...
[Doesn't want to tell him he has no leg, that sort of made people a little weird]
You say there aren't any zoms, which I find hard to believe because they always show up when you think there aren't any. If you're a runner for Luceti I'll find a way to make up for the lost resources. Just please don't leave me out here.
[Voice]
[Not that it couldn't be done, but they weren't all that comfortable.]
You're not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy.
There are no zombies. Not in Luceti. And they found a cure for the virus that caused the outbreak in the other enclosures. I was there. I saw it.
[Voice]
............A cure?
[No, really, he can't wrap his mind past that yet]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Still focused on that, could say he sounds a little desperate]
[Voice]
[Although the kid sounds pretty desperate about it.]
[Voice]
[Probably not the smartest thing to say to someone he doesn't know but... a cure for the grey plague-- it was more valuable than all the diamonds in Africa or something. Priceless]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Pauses as his blood runs cold, remembering stories of people on the road who would claim to help if you sent your coordinates, but would wind up robbing and killing instead...
The promise of a cure was simply too good to be true and he quickly thought better of revealing his whereabouts]
Actually, I see someone coming around right now! Thank you for your help but I'll be fine, Agent Barton!
[No ifs ands or buts, he's already closed off communication, heart racing]
