[Begins transmission with a smile, him flying solo in his own journal for the day. And here, being committed to your entertainment. Or at least, it's in the works, but today he has a few things in mind he'd like to accomplish to get that started.]

Hello, Luceti, it's a chilly morning out there, so make sure you're nice and bundled up for any sort of travel you expect to be doing today.

Jack and I are still compiling some requests and compositions from you lovely lot, and if you'd like to put in some last minute offers or requests, feel free to let me or Jack know.

[Switches gears a little, looking just a little nervous]

I also come to you today for a request.

[Takes a deep breath and averts his eyes just a moment, licking his lips before glancing back to the screen]

I've heard of some doctors being located at the Battle Dome and I had questions about... things... regarding mobility, mostly. Ah, if anyone could get me in contact with a doctor there, I would really... really appreciate it. As some of you know I have some mobility issues and improving that would be...

[Smiles a little, wistful and hopeful but trying to keep it under wraps]

...It would be my top priority.

[Scratches the side of his nose with one finger and sits back]

She's ah... my girlfriend [And wasn't that strange to say.] I sang it for her and thought she could do with hearing the original sometime.

[Yes, Clint, you can see the expression of shock and then knowing smile grow on Eugene's face when that confession comes clean]

Well, you can count on me to help solidify this budding relationship. Wow!

[Gosh, now he's even beaming, loving to do things like this for lovers]

I won't let you down. Just wait until I tell Jack. Then come hell or high water, we will acquire a copy somehow if we don't have it.

[Have a scowl. He sees your shock.]

Hey, hey. Don't give me that look. It isn't that surprising. [He rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.]

Oh god... please, do not make this a big deal. No announcements or anything.

[This does not dampen his spirits. He is just excited for Clint and wants him to also be excited. Bashfulness-- it was very cute, but if he said that out loud then he would never be able to live it down]

I want to meet her. No announcements, nothing fancy, just let me make you all dinner or something. Please? I've been wanting an excuse to cook something decent and really extravagant...

[No Eugene, Clint would never forgive you! He is not bashful! He is a competent and scary assassin :| ]

...are you asking me on some kind of double date here, Eugene?

[Count a small victory for Eugene against the scary assassin agent. Successfully hoodwinked him into asking about a double date. And now all that was left was the planning. Now who was scarier?]

But now that you mention it, I think a double date sounds fantastic.

I... I don't even know what to do on a double date. Or a date. I don't... I'm gonna have to dress up aren't I?

Worldly, knowledged, food-brave Barton confesses he has no idea how to date?

Part of it is dressing up. Sometimes it results in dressing down. The dressing up part is like getting a present all wrapped up. And you'll see Saori all dressed up, too.

Which is nice, right?

[Waves his hands, dismissive]

Don't sweat the details, I've got this.

[Clint glowers at him, a little embarrassed because yeah, this is something that most people pick up in their teens.]

Well, excuse me. Moving cities every week or so from age ten doesn't give you much time to practice. I had flings.

...it sounds terrifying. All of it. I'm not cut out for relationships.

[Why is this his life?]

[He wasn't implying that Clint was somehow defunct! Merely that he had thought worldly Clint would have... experienced much more of the world than he had. On account of having seen more of it and done far more than Eugene could have ever dreamed]

Flings are good! And they're not terrifying, do you think me and Jack are terrifying?

[Clint gives him a sceptical look. No offence, Eugene, but he could break both of you like twigs.]

You're sickeingly in love with each other. Yes, it is terrifying.

[Doing that might result in trouble for Clint, but Eugene is oblivious to the whole idea of being broken like a twig right now. His humor fell, just a little crestfallen at the 'sickeningly' description.]

Well, I'm sorry that it terrifies you, the big-bad agent man. But seriously, the only way to overcome your fear is to face it. And a date is no where near as terrifying as a zom.

[Clint sighs softly. He didn't meant to be offensive but... the only person he's like that with is Tasha and that's in private. And his references for relationships tend to be from either movies or his parents and that didn't exactly end well.]

...I can shoot zombies.

Do you really want to shoot Saori- or me or Jack? Come on, man. It's not so bad.

[Grins a little and lowers a borw]

It's not like I'm asking you to go it alone. A double date means I'll be right there to give you tips and tricks to make it work.

I don't want to shoot you guys. I just want to shoot the whole concept of dating in general.

[He huffs a little.] Fine fine. I can do this.

Thats' the spirit. Don't try to shoot dating, it's really not so hideous. Consider it like hanging out with someone, with the potential benefit of getting to know someone pretty well.

[Smiles a bit]

If you have questions, I'll answer them, but I really think you're going to be just fine. Saori seems nice and..... very hot. If you'll forgive me for stating the obvious.

Well, I suppose she does already know what I do for a living.

[He didn't have to break that bombshell. 'Oh hi, by the way I kill people for a living' didn't tend to go down too well.]

She's lovely.

Barton, she's an alleged goddess. I think this would include you in currently god-tier so far as picking up hot chicks.

No alleged about it. [He's seen her do things no human ever could. Probably. Things were getting a bit strange.]

I didn't realise we were ranked on picking up dates.

Just let a man hand out a compliment. Just saying, she's definitely not someone I would even consider in my league.

--Er, not that I need to consider other people, don't get me wrong. You're just the only guy I know who's dating a genuine goddess.

Plus, she's cute. I always thought goddesses would be a bit snooty, but she's very friendly.

It just kind of... happened.

[He snorted softly, smiling at that.]

I know a woman from my own world who's dating a god. Who is also from my own world. Maybe not that uncommon here.

Yeah, Jack and I just kind of happened, too. Trust me, the feeling isn't too unusual. But speakin of unusual, just because you know gods and humans and all this dating business going on between them doesn't mean I'm used to it. Just seems like something out of a work of fiction. Still wrapping my head around it--

anyway, I'm pretty sure I keep going on about the same things here. What kind of food does she eat--

[Clint laughed softly, shaking his head.]

The world got a whole lot stranger the last couple of years. Although hell, they did create a super soldier back in World War 2. I guess that counts as kind of strange.

She eats. Pretty much the same things as everyone else.

Alright, so no strange dietary prep. Good, makes life easier.

[Currently he has every intention of cooking the both of you something fine and date-worthy. Wine, steak, a nice vegetable side with a small dash of dessert.]

I don't know about super soldiers back in World War 2 in my world, but I guess they'd keep that from me on account of it's probably pretty sensitive info. I'm just a boring journalist from Canada. But aside from that, just leave it to me. --The dinner part, at least. And the music.
